PAC Year in Review: Celebrating community, connection, and contribution

McGirr PAC held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, June 16. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, and begin planning for the year ahead.


A Look Back at 2024–2025


Here are just a few of the things PAC helped support this year:


  • Subsidized $7,000+ worth of class field trips to make learning more accessible

  • Hosted a successful Funfair, Monster Mash, movie nights, Spirit Wear sales, and hot lunch programs that built community and raised important funds

  • Donated to the Grade 7 Graduation and sponsored a school-wide pizza lunch

  • Supported McGirr’s first ever musical theatre production – Annie Junior!

  • Contributed to classroom supplies, library upgrades, and post-secondary bursaries for former students

We’re already looking forward to the 2025–2026 school year. Whether you’re a returning parent or brand new to McGirr, we’d love to see you at our first PAC meeting in the fall on September 15th. Every voice counts, and your involvement makes a difference!
