How to Get Involved
McGirr PAC is powered by parent and caregiver volunteers. Whether you have a few hours to help at one event, want to join a planning committee, or are interested in taking on a bigger role, there are lots of ways to get involved.
No experience required, and every little bit helps!
Come to a PAC Meeting
PAC meetings are open to all McGirr parents and caregivers.
Come hear what’s happening axround the school, share an idea or opinion, or simply listen and learn a little more about what the PAC does.
There’s no pressure to volunteer or join a committee just because you attend!
Volunteer or Help Plan an Event
Many of the activities our students and families enjoy throughout the year are made possible by volunteers.
There will be opportunities throughout the year to help with things like hot lunches, movie nights, special events and other PAC activities.
You can also get involved behind the scenes by joining the planning committee for two of our biggest events:

PAC Executive positions are a great way to get to know other parents, contribute ideas and help shape what the PAC does throughout the year.
