As we head into the second half of the school year, we wanted to send out a friendly reminder about our upcoming PAC Fun Lunches for the rest of the year. These monthly hot lunches are a fun and convenient option for families, and we’re excited to continue the program through June.
We have 5 more Fun Lunch dates scheduled over the school year, and Fun Lunch always takes place on Mondays.
Just like last year, we will be using the MunchaLunch program for ordering and electronic payment:https://munchalunch.com/schools/mcgirr/
If you haven’t already, you will need to set up an account and add your child(ren) (unless you already have an account from previous years). The website is open for ordering at any time; however, orders and payments are due one week before each hot lunch date. If your family may need financial assistance to access the Fun Lunch program at any point, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Pauline at mcgirrfunlunchpac@gmail.com. All inquiries will be kept strictly confidential, and the PAC will do its best to sponsor as many students as possible through the end of the school year.
Families who wish to support this initiative can donate to the PAC Fun Lunch Sponsorship Program using the donation option available on each menu in MunchaLunch. All donations go directly toward supporting students at our school.
As always, our Fun Lunch program depends on the help of volunteers. Lunches are distributed during long recess, and volunteers are typically needed from approximately 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Many hands make light work, and we are grateful for any help from parents, grandparents, or caregivers.
