We’re looking for enthusiastic, community-minded parents to join our PAC executive team for the 2025/26 school year! Volunteering with PAC is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other families, and make a real impact.
We currently have the following vacant roles:
Co-Secretary
Great for someone who enjoys writing and organization, and wants a light commitment. You’d be sharing the role with our current secretary so will only have half the work!
Responsibilities include:
Helping create meeting agendas
Taking and sharing minutes for up to five PAC meetings during the school year
Spirit Wear Coordinator
Love school spirit? This creative role manages McGirr-branded clothing sales. It takes a bit of work at the start of the year but is otherwise pretty light duty.
Responsibilities include:
Organizes spirit wear orders and promotions
Puts in the order for the Grade 7 "Class of ___" hoodies (so would be great for a grade 7 parent to step up for this role.....)
Coordinates distribution to students/families
Fundraising Coordinator
Love to make money for worthy causes? This position helps boost PAC coffers so we can continue to support the school through equipment purchases, special funding requests, field trips, and more.
Responsibilities include:
Organizes various fundraisers throughout the year
No experience is necessary — just a willingness to help. You’ll have plenty of support from current and past PAC members, and we make sure no one has to manage anything alone.
Interested or want to learn more? Email chairmcgirrpac@gmail.com or simply show up to the first PAC Meeting of the new school year on Monday, September 15 at 6:15pm in the Learning Lab.
We’d love to have you on the team!
